Abstract

Christianity and religions in Raimon Panikkar’s theologyA thesis on R. Panikkar’s thought and οn the evolution of his position towards the Hinduism and the religiousness of Orient, in the spirit of the Council Vatican II. At the same time, the study is focused on roman-catholic mission among the Asian people and its new practices. In this context is analyzed Panikkar’s methodology in order to expose the parallels between Christianity and Hinduism, familiarizing in this way the Hindus with the idea of the Christ as a Savior not only of the human nature, but also of the whole Universe. The keyword of this approach is the Cosmotheandrism and the relation between these three parts: God, Cosmos and the human being with an ample use of the theology of Advaita Vedanta.
