Κατασκευάζοντας έμφυλες ταυτότητες: η ρητορική του φύλλου στο λόγο εργαζομένων σε μη κυβερνητικές οργανώσεις για τη διακίνηση και εμπορία γυναικών

Abstract

This study examines the construction of gendered identities in Greek NGOs volunteers’ interview talk about sex trafficking. The study adopts a social psychological perspective and combines elements from critical discursive social psychology and recent feminist post-structuralist theory. More specifically the key analytical tools of the study’s methodology are the concepts of interpretative repertoires and ideological dilemmas (Potter and Wetherell, 1987, Wetherell, 1998, Billig, Condor, Edwards, Gene, Middleton, and Radley, 1988). The analysis stresses the link between the social construction of gender with sex trafficking. Gender is an object of negotiation in the volunteers’ talk about sex trafficking and is related with specific ideological positions and dilemmas that are going to be the product of analysis.The study consists of 32 semi structured interviews with volunteers working for NGOs in Greece. The NGOs were classified in four categories according to their profile. Those categories are:1.NGOs with a humanistic profile.2.NGOs with a religious profile.3.NGO’s with a medical profile.4.NGO’s with a feminist profile.The data for the study were collected in the period June 2009- December 2009. The interviews were taken in three different Greek cities (Athens, Thessaloniki and Ioannina). Each interview lasted between one hour and one hour and a half. At this initial stage interviews were transcribed for content only. The data corpus comes up to approximately 800 A4 typewritten pages.

Στην παρούσα έρευνα διερευνάται η κατασκευή έμφυλων ταυτοτήτων στο λόγο εργαζομένων σε ελληνικές Μη Κυβερνητικές Οργανώσεις (Μ.Κ.Ο.) για τη διακίνηση και εμπορία γυναικών (sex trafficking).Η έρευνα εντάσσεται στο επιστημονικό πεδίο της κοινωνικής ψυχολογίας και συνδυάζει στοιχεία από την κριτική κοινωνική λογοψυχολογία και τη σύγχρονη κονστρουξιονιστική φεμινιστική θεωρία (Speer, 2005, Aradau, 2008, Augustin, 2008, Van den Anker and Doomernik, 2006). Ειδικότερα η μεθοδολογία της ανάλυσης χρησιμοποιεί ως βασικά εργαλεία τις έννοιες ερμηνευτικά ρεπερτόρια και τα ιδεολογικά διλήμματα (Potter and Wetherell, 1987, Wetherell, 1998, Billig, Condor, Edwards, Gene, Middleton, and Radley, 1988). Το φύλο είναι αντικείμενο διαπραγμάτευσης στο λόγο των συμμετεχόντων για τη σωματεμπορία γυναικών και συνδέεται με συγκεκριμένες ιδεολογικές θέσεις και διλήμματα που θα αναλυθούν.Η έρευνα περιλαμβάνει 32 ημιδομημένες συνεντεύξεις με εθελοντές που εργάζονται σε Μ.Κ.Ο. Οι Μ.Κ.Ο χωρίστηκαν σε 4 κατηγορίες με βάση το προφίλ τους:1.Μ.Κ.Ο με ανθρωπιστικό προφίλ.2.Μ.Κ.Ο με θρησκευτικό προφίλ.3.Μ.Κ.Ο με ιατρικό προφίλ.4.Μ.Κ.Ο με ανθρωπιστικό προφίλ.Τα στοιχεία συγκεντρώθηκαν από τον Ιούνιο του 2009 μέχρι το Δεκέμβριο του 2009. Οι συνεντεύξεις έγιναν στην Αθήνα, τη Θεσσαλονίκη και τα Γιάννενα. Κάθε συνέντευξη κράτησε από μία μέχρι μιάμιση ώρα. Το υλικό των συνεντεύξεων φτάνει περίπου τις 800 δακτυλογραφημένες σελίδες Α4.
